I'm a wife, mom of three, organizer, home decorator, crafter and party planner extraordinaire. Thanks for popping by my site! For as long as I can remember, I've loved to make things beautiful and efficient: I had whole notebooks full of lists almost as soon as I could write, pored over the home blueprints in the back of Southern Living magazine as a kid, and later became that funny teenager who rearranged and redecorated her room on random Sunday afternoons (my poor parents!). I spent the first decade of my professional life in college admissions, working to streamline the application and enrollment process for students, families and university staff. As a stay-at-home mom to little ones, I've been able to combine the analytical and organizational skills I honed at work with a flair for the creative and I'm excited to share those gifts with you.

I believe in simplifying. We all want to spend fun and relaxing time with our family and friends in a pretty, functional home, and to throw beautiful, meaningful parties for our loved ones. I know what it's like to try to make that happen while working 60+ hours a week, running on fumes and a whole lot of takeout. (Hint: it ain't easy.) I also know what it's like to do it on a teeny budget, in between nursing a baby, getting dinner on the table and maybe – just maybe – washing your hair.
